Risk Management and Economic Stimulus Programming: A Public Policy Forum workshop in partnership with CCAF
Event documents
When: Thursday, June 18, 2009 - 07:30 – 11:30
Where: Fairmont Château Laurier, Ottawa
The government's recent plans for major stimulus programming pose a challenge for public servants, who must quickly deliver funds while still prudently managing public monies. Risk management will be put to the test in the coming months.
Designed for public service program managers and auditors handling stimulus programs, the workshop provided a neutral space to better understand, clarify and apply program performance expectations and develop a deeper appreciation for the practice of risk management, using the current environment (i.e. stimulus spending) as a practical and "real time" case study.
